The Elections and Recognition Committee Chair serves a one-year term and is an ex-officio, non-voting member of the Executive Board for the duration of his/her term

Responsibilities

• Coordinating all activity regarding nominations, candidate screening, recommendations, and voting to elect new Executive Board members and committee chairpersons in accordance with GAVCO constitution and by-laws
• Refines criteria for the Executive Board's use in selecting individuals for formal recognition
• Recommends candidates for approval by the Executive Board for formal recognition
